Alliance for Regulatory Coordination commends local officials.

MADISON – The Alliance for Regulatory Coordination recently mailed letters of commendation to the League of Wisconsin Municipalities, the Wisconsin Counties Association and the Wisconsin Towns Association. The letters commend members of those groups for their efforts to promote public safety within the constructed environments of their communities.

“The Alliance appreciates and supports local administration of state building and fire safety codes in Wisconsin. We encourage elected officials to continue their support of such community based safety efforts” wrote Robert DuPont, founder of the Alliance.

The letters also say “Safe homes, as well as safe places of employment and recreation, help make Wisconsin a great place to live, visit and do business. Public safety is good for our families, friends and communities. Safe buildings harbor the economic machinery and vitality of Wisconsin.”

The Alliance for Regulatory Coordination is a consortium of 22 business, professional, trade and advocacy organizations involved in building design, construction and regulatory services. The Alliance seeks regulatory services provided in the most efficient manner possible while promoting the health, safety and welfare of Wisconsin citizens and visitors.
