Alliance for Regulatory Coordination commends local officials.


MADISON – The Alliance for Regulatory Coordination recently mailed certificates of commendation to over 2300 fire departments and municipalities in Wisconsin. The certificates were issued in recognition of local programs that provide building and fire safety guidance and regulation for their communities. “We truly appreciate and support your efforts to promote public safety in the constructed environment. We hope that you will share and display our recognition of your accomplishments.” wrote Bob DuPont, founder of the Alliance.

The Alliance for Regulatory Coordination is a consortium which advocates for improvements in building-related regulatory programs throughout Wisconsin. Consisting of 23 associations and organizations involved in building design, construction and regulation, the Alliance promotes supports more coordination between state and municipal regulatory services. The overall goal of the Alliance is to have regulatory services provided in the most efficient manner possible while promoting safety for Wisconsin citizens and visitors. Members of the Alliance include business, labor, fire safety, governmental and other professional groups involved in construction and buildings regulation.
